Initial Setup
1. Open the front of your machine via the release button located on the right hand side of the machine.
2. Then press the blue rectangular button located on the right hand side of the machine.
3. Remove the protective (orange) bars from the drums inside the machine.
Install Toner
Remove the protective orange film from each Ink Cartridge.
IMPORTANT : Take care not to damage or touch the green roller on the bottom of the drum.
Then remove any remaining orange film inside the printer.
Paper Mode
Push the two levers on the fuser to switch from Envelope to Paper Mode.
Then close your printer back up.
Install Drivers and Color Profile
Use the USB Dongle provided to install the Drivers and Colour Profiles.
Preparing Artwork
Create a new A4 CMYK Document in Adobe Illustrator.
Mirror Artwork
With your artwork on page :
1) Flip your artwork by selecting everything, then navigate to:
2) Select the Vertical option and press OK.Object > Transform > Reflect...
Assign Profiling
1) Assign the artwork to the correct colour profile by navigating to:
2) Select "iColor 350 Dye Sublimation Version 1.icc" and press OK.Edit > Assign Profile...
Your Artwork is now ready to Print.
Navigate to:
Select "Plain/Middle Thick/Recycled" as the paper setting via the Paper/Quality Tab in Advanced Settings.File > Print...
Printing Polyester
Press with a firm pressure for 1 minute at 200°c (392°f).
Printing Sublimation Mugs
Press with a firm pressure for 1 minute at 200°c (392°f).
When pressing mugs, it is essential to use the UniNet Subliclean roll as shown in the video.
The UniNet Subliclean rolls allows a clean transfer onto the mug.
Note: The UniNet Subliclean roll is best cut with a rotary cutter on a flat surface, it's quite fiddly when cut with scissors.
