Multi Trans and Multi Trans Metallic are heat applied Laser Transfer Paper which does not require cutting.
Press onto a wide range of hard surfaces, such as Mugs, Ceramics, Metal, Wood, Slate and Acrylic.
If you are using Multi Trans Metallic this paper needs to be printed with black ink only.
(You may need to increase the black gamma in the RIP by 10%)
Make sure you use the Multi Trans Profile in Step 1 in FOREVER TransferRIP.
You must also print this using User Type 1 for both papers.
Equipment needed for successful transfer
For a sucessful transfer, you will need the following equipment:
· Teflon Sheet (To protect the acrylic from puncturing the base of your heat press)
· Heat Stabalised acrylic (for this example we are using 8mm thick)
· Matt finishing paper (to protect the print from the press)
· Thin silicone pad (If you don't have one, a rubber matt should work but will require longer press time)
Press your acrylic at (150°c (302°f)) for 30 seconds.
Once finished, place your acrylic under something heavy like a stack of books for for 5 minutes.
Peel the transfer from your acrylic when cold.
